Students should use paper dictionaries instead of electronic dictionaries( Argument essay)

    When you look up at the words that you don't know, what kind of dictionaries do you use?
  These days , students don't use paper dictionaries. Usually they don't use those because they are too heavy or hard to find words that they're looking for. So, they use electronic dictionaries more than those paper dictionaries. Students should use paper dictionaries instead of electronic dictionaries. I suggest this statement with 2 reasons. One of them is related to the contents of a dictionary, and the other one is related to our health. Let me talk more about this.


 First, I would use the paper dictionary because it has more vocabularies, and specific explanations including  examples of that word  too. For example, if you search for the  word "wind", it would give you many explanations about winds and also some scientific     informations about  winds too. But if you look up at the electronic dictionary to search for a word "wind", it would only give you a definition about that word. Therefore, it is not that helpful using an electronic dictionary for a student.

  Next, another reason why a paper dictionary is better because it doesn't harm our body. If I say in a scientific way, because the dictionary need electricity, there is also electromagnetic waves too.And those waves harm us. That's why it is bad to use computer or TV a lot. So, when you use the electronic dictionary too many times, your  eyesight might decrease badly, and it also harm your brain ,and it makes you more lazy too.
But on the other hand, the paper dictionary doesn't have any related things to the electronic materials, so it doesn't harm our bodies.

People who use the electronic dictionaries think that they're useful for the students because  it is faster than the paper dictionaries. However, this is not true. Well.. it is true that you just have to tap some alphabets to search for the word you're looking for when you use the electric ones, but they're not that accurate. So  sometimes you have to spend some time to search for the words too. Some electronic dictionaries don't have several words too!

Because the paper dictionary has more specific explanations and healthiness,
Students should use the paper dictionaries instead of electric ones .

Drabble

Tracy and her sister Mary, were eating cookies together. But  as they ate and ate the cookie, soon there was only one cookie left, they started to argue about the last person to eat the cookie. They criticized to each other for a long time . But their opinions wouldn't  match. So, Tracy  had a big fight with  Mary. She grabbed and  twisted Mary's hair. Tracy yanked Mary's hair so badly, and  her sister became bald.  At first, Tracy was suprised at herself, but soon, she thought that Marry deserved it. Tracy ate the cookie and munched it so happily. And then , she went outside to play with her friends While Mary was crying and wailing and weeping on the floor for several hours. After Mary stopped crying, she started to change. Her body shrinked, her clothes disappeared , her eyes grew big, her teeth changed very sharply like a vampire. And while she was changing in the living room, Tracy came back to the house. And, as she saw Mary turned in to a Gollum!!! And it was crawling toward Tracy !!! Tracy was so horrified to see her sister and screamed so badly that she couldn't breathe easily . Soon, Tracy fainted. And when she woke up, she realized everything was all  a dream. She thought that she will never fight with her sister.

About 3 days ago, I watched a movie called "Brave".
The story of this movie gives us several good lessons to us, so I think it is a very nice movie.
As I saw this movie , I found out some several things that symbolize many things.

First, A bear means something very strong, something that can hurt you easily like a  lion. so the village people think of this bear as a  very evil creature. And they all have bad memories about the bears too. So while I was watching the movie, I could feel that  they were  very sensitive about bears.





Secondly, An arrow and a bow means something that is really brave. Like a man or a boy.
But in this story, Merida liked to shoot arrows. Usually, a girl don't shoot arrows .
Moreover, at this time, people thought that girls were weak and tiny and shy. However, she  stood up with an arrow even though there were people that opposes her.
I think that's why this movie is called "Brave". As I saw the movie, I could feel her acting very confidently.



When I saw the part when Merida cut  the tablet that her mother sewed it for many years, I thought she was too mean. Even I wouldn't have done  that  if I were angry at my mom too. I think she had lost her mind.




There were a lot of elements to get Merida a  lesson. And I think the wisps were one of them too. They led Merida to the witch and made her realize that she was acting absolutely wrong.

I found out that that the author of this story wanted to  tell us that we should know the importance of a family,and always think deep and then act. And the author wanted to tell us that we should be brave to face many miserable things by showing Merida 's personality.
After I thought about this movie very deeply, I could feel that this was the advise that I really needed, and I also thought I should always remember those advises to face many things.
